Van Cortlandt park is one of the few truly beautiful things we have left in the Bronx. Don't mess it up by building on it or altering it.

This would be a horrendous mistake What nature has here that will be destroyed even if it is only built for a temporary timeline we can not bring back! Let this beautiful oasis that is enjoyed by the people of the city and the natural wildlife remain just as it is! The environmental impact alone ( congestion, traffic, fields destroyed, ) will not benefit the community in any positive way and the businesses would not benefit as the events are only for a limited time.The residents and their regular customers would be gone and it would be almost inaccessible to park or even shop or travel to them Keep this space open for the schools and people that care about this park and are Not interested in making a huge profit off of it!

Please let us- Bronx residents- keep this park to enjoy!
We don't have many spaces like this where we feel connected to nature. Please so not impose on a place that is so important to so many of us. A place where many of us find refuge and moment of freedom and connection with the outdoors.
