So unnecessary and will take away much neede park space and land. This space is much more valued and needed for the community of the Bronx than for a stadium which is for a select few. We need space and land. Utilize other existing stadiums.

We don't know what the negative impact on the environment would be to build a temporary stadium. I suspect that it would be damaging. Also what about the facilities (plumbing necessary for this) ? This is also likely to impact the ecosystem of the park. Part of the Parade would not able to be used for 6 months which is also a reason why this stadium should not be built.

Don't turn the park into a cesspool. There's no parking, there'll be tons of littering, drinking, garbage, and the lawn will take forever to recover. Why don't you take this to the parking lot near the aqueduct in Queens? Seriously?

We're going to chase those playing cricket away so someone else can WATCH cricket?? For money? And take away any of the very scarce parking? Parkland belongs to NYC citizens not the I CC, and not the mayor.

Many migrating birds use this grassland. It’s busier than most people realize with birds.

This stadium will shut out residents of the Bronx from essential parkland in favor of a folly of a stadium.

Protect the land! Land for the people! The parks are for the people and should be accessed by all, not privatized.

Yankee Stadium or Citi Field can accommodate the Cricket players and spectators, not Van Cortland Park!

The cricket match would be better served in Yankee Stadium. The eco-system of Van Cortlandt or any other park is too fragile to handle the traffic that such an event would bring. The Bronx has been marginalized, discounted and its ecosystems and neighborhoods decimated for more than two centuries. NO MORE!!!
