Leave our park alone.

Many things are troubling about this proposal. One is the timeline - so much has to be done before any move can be made. Seems futile. Another is the size, scope, and infrastructure needed to create this. It will cause undue disruption to our neighborhood and to all the current park users. City promises about amenities, benefits, and remediations from large scale projects often only partially materialize, if at all. Use an existing space.

We are not wanting to get involved in a real conflict with 2 countries that are literally at war with each other and can cause real fights and killing in our neighborhood will not be tolerated!!! Send them to a real stadium in other boroughs!!! Not here!!!

We must preserve our natural areas in the park. The proposed site would be converted to turf grass and presently is biodiverse, attracting resident and migratory songbirds.

Fix our Van Cortlandt Park Stadium instead of building an unnecessary structure that will displace park users, damage the parade grounds, and create havoc on the streets around VCP

Too be very honest our city has become more and more full with unnecessary things and parks are starting to become unsafe or buildings are being built on the park making it so nobody can relax

This stadium is a spectacularly bad idea.

I do not support building a cricket stadium in van courtlandt park. This is a park that is well used by people from all over the Bronx. Losing green space even “temporarily “ would be a huge disservice to bronxites who rely on VCP year round.

It’s time that we stop gentrifiers from taking over every part of the Bronx.

City land should not be for private use, especially during the busy summer months.
