Enough! You can't keep kicking the people who you will will need to protect you, when the masses have had a belly full of your cuts, whilst your own pay and conditions get better!

I think this is totally unfair as my ex partner is in the met and he does a great job why should he have the hours deducted its totally unfair on him and the other officers he works with

Absolutely no way .. You want us in line with joe public, by not paying overnight allowances etc, then fine.. But joe public gets treble time on bank holidays !! How is that in line with the fair paying tax payer ?

At not point have i EVER said i want days back for rest days. I want what EVERY person working a NATIONAL bank holiday wants PAYING!!! I totally disagree with the federations claim. I want my bank holidays to remain as they are National nationwide recognised holidays AND i want to be paid for working a bank holiday like every other person who works a bank holiday!

Won't be happy until the country is policed by volunteers who will work what they want when they want who insist on spending public holidays with their families. Want to save money then cut back on members of House of Lords and stop MP's fiddling expenses, renting homes they claim for and, if they want protection pay for it. No one knows who most of them are. Only see full house when debating something that affects them, did everyone else.

Keep the bank holidays emergency services don't get a choice if they want to work and should be compensated accordingly not like the rest of society where if they don't want to work they don't put their name on the rota. NO CHOICE FAIR PAY!

Police Officers are part of society. Bank Holidays are part of society. Separating Officers from society's rhythm is separating Officers from society itself. Something completely in reversal to Sir Robert Peer's philosophy.

all workers rights need our protection, the Police deserve the full support of the public.

How much more can we take??!!! ..this is becoming increasingly intolerable...no wonder officers are leaving the force....more like working at Macdonalds every day!!quite at least they have some rights!

24/7 -365 days a year. They've destroyed the pension n ruined the bond between the Great British public & the British Bobby. It's time they stopped short of finishing the little that's left. ...or give us the same conditions as every other organisation!!!

I don't believe signing this will change anything but what the hell....goodbye double time for public holidays. Time to re-evaluate this 'vocation' I think.
