It was never broken so Please don t try to fix it. Its a job that only certain individuals can do . Its not taken as a profession for the money , its because they care . This should not be allowed .

Politicians have made cuts to ALL the services. Time they made some cuts to themselves and their pensions, allowances etc. Likewise with some of the very Senior Ranks in the Police - change their pensions, terms & conditions to reflect the changes made to thr rank & file.

This governments treatment of public services as a whole is a disgrace for which they should be prosecuted!! But the way they're hitting the police is disgusting. They will end up with nobody willing to do a hard job that deserves better treatment from them!!

Stop eroding our pay and conditions. We work hard on bank holidays, and miss out on spending time with our families. We deserve to be paid for it.

The 70s told that the police should be treated well. Corruption is going to come again with a steady decline of good solid police officers because of other better options... Officers spend there days mopping up the blood of victims for a government to see nothing.. If anyone could do it, then pay like it is minimum wage because that is what you will get.. Anyone.. Anyone can stand idol and do nothing as well. Police officers do not get paid enough for the danger they face daily, no one can get paid enough for the love of there job, but there is a price for life and this is pushing it!
