Say No To Starbucks

We don’t need another coffee shop in Pella, ESPECIALLY a Starbucks!! If it comes to town I WILL NOT support it with my business!!

For how much starbucks is good. I would not be necessary to have one in Pella. Please save it for the big cities. I say no.

I feel that bringing Starbucks to Pella would hurt our small coffee businesses. They are unique and family owned. Please keep franchise/corporate coffee out of Pella!

Starbucks is the last thing Pella needs! We have wonderful (and plenty) coffee shops already.

I love Pella and the unique businesses. That is what gives it so much charm!

Please say no to Starbucks!

By google's account, we have 8 dedicated coffee shops in Pella, this doesn't include many restaurants/eateries/food trucks that offer smoothies/other coffee options. By comparison, other towns of similar size have just two to four coffee shops, most have two. By these numbers alone, it doesn't make sense to add another coffee shop. Maybe it would be needed if there was a lack of coffee available in a specific part of town, however, they are spread out nicely across town. While there may be some perks to adding a STARBUCKS NAME to our town, we need to ask ourselves, would the benefits outweigh the risk of losing other small, family owned businesses, our neighbors and friends, that have invested in Pella?

Starbucks is not supportive of many conservative issues. Many local people are not aware of that.

Support small businesses locally first.

Keep the small business and GOOD coffee in town. scooters is an eye sore and terrible coffee, don't degrade Pella more w Starbucks

Local companies that provide superior service and products than a big chain? Uh, yes, please!

Iris is coffee is amazing, we need to protect small/local businesses from corporate giants. All chains should be denied in towns like Pella. BTW Starbucks coffee sucks. The small Dutch businesses are what make Pella Special.

Support our local small businesses. They live here, they pour into the community here, they are what makes Pella unique. Bringing a Starbucks in smacks of trying to be a mini Des Moines and takes income away from those local businesses who are fighting to stay afloat in these difficult economic times.
