Say NO to shooting in NSW National Parks
If you are against shooting in our National Parks, sign this petition and help to send a message to our state's policy makers.
The NSW Liberal Government is proposing to allow the shooting of "feral" animals in at least 79 of the state's National Parks, to be carried out by recreational, amateur shooters.
The idea of allowing shooting in National Parks is disturbing, and this "backflip" by the NSW Government on an election promise will come at a large cost.
National Parks are a unique place, that not only allow citizens to enjoy a passive recreational experience, but are fundamental in managing vital and precious ecosystems.
A similar scheme, as proposed by the NSW Government, operating now in New Zealand has resulted in several deaths in recent years.
