this is a very bad idea. CWD brought into NC from other states could destroy our deer herds! If the number of deer are decimated, then hunting license revenue will plummet, and that will snowball our wildlife problems!

As a professional biologist, I urge you to not allow the captive deer industry to expand. This needs to be removed from the farm bill, and control needs to stay with NCWRC.

Hunting deer held in a pen is not a North Carolina tradition. Deer farming threatens the our tradition and the sporting spirit of hunting in North Carolina.
