Citizens with puppy mills with dogs who are this emaciated are arrested and their animals are confiscated. This is unacceptable.

Deer should be kept in the wild.. There's enough deer out there.. And farm raising them will Probably bring health risks to the wild deer and go's for wild deer bring health risks to the farmed deer..

The transfer of deer farming from NCWRC to NCDACS, the expansion of deer farming and the limitation of standards to no greater USDA, which are merely voluntary, in this legislation is a grotesque violation of the public trust in order benefit a handful of the politically connected. This is exactly why politicians are held in such low esteem. The increased risk of CWD is just the consequence of this betrayal by legislative leadership. Veto SB 513 and let them fix this atrocity to reflect the will of the people in the short session.

I am very concerned about the actions of our state legislators who have manipulated bills to continuously present this topic in different ways to circumvent the wishes of their constituents. The people of NC have consistently expressed their concern over deer farming and it is time for this subject to be dropped. Do the right thing and say no to SB 513!. In addition, stop trying to trick the people of NC to pass this deer farming concept.
