Say NO to SB 513 Deer Farming

Governor McCrory, There are a lot more votes out there from hunters and fishermen, than deer farmers and commercial fishermen

please veto this underhanded bill

This is a very good reason people do NOT trust politicians. This was done wrong and everyone knows it that hunts deer and more. Big money should not overcome our healthy wildlife but if this bill passes it most likely will.

I urge you to veto this bill.

Deer and elk are wild game animals, NOT farm animals. We must do everything possible to protect our precious natural resources from exploitation - especially when it only benefits a few wealthy individuals. Natural resources should be maintained for the enjoyment of ALL state residents.

It is insane that this ended up passing. Please veto it, Governor.

Governor, why endanger North Carolina's wild deer herd to appease a small number of farmers?

As a wildlife biologist this greatly concerns me. The health and sustainability of the cervid populations in NC are now at risk. Use sicience and not expanding pockets from donations to make the correct decision.

I am getting mighty tired of having to sign petitions. From your silly chicken registration, to this. i think it is high time the NC government uses some common sense.

NO to SB 513 Deer Farming

For some reason the ipetitons software thinks I'm in Kinston. I am not.

The passing of SB 513 could have very negative results to our deer herd. PLEASE do not allow this bill to become law. Thanking you in advance, "Bo" Cash, Nebo, NC

Deer farming will cause a landslide of other laws to fall. Will the average citizen now be able to buy and sell game animal parts? Will deer be viewed as farm animals afterwards if this bill passes? Maybe not for now, but landslides begin with a single shift of a small object.

Deer and Elk are wild game animals, NOT farm animals.

There have been overwhelming amounts of evidence and out cries as to what damage this will do to the game and the hunting in this state. Please consider the facts and dismiss the idea of ever allowing this in North Carolina.

Please do not allow this to happen in NC it is amoral and not what sportsmen stand for plus it puts our whitetail population at a huge risk of disease and devastation. Thank you
