Please don't allow our state to take away what has been a part of our families for generations, deer hunting. It's not a direct take away but the long term results of SB 513 will ultimatly destroy this part of our states wildlife and part of our way of life. Thank you for looking after the residents of NC and not those whom would like to use it's land for such an explotation of wildlife.

A side from not being good stewards of GOD'S natural resources we are allowing the inhumane dispatch of animals that should be legally harvested and then given to the hungry. Simply sickening waste.

As a retired Wildlife Biologist, I hope you will veto this bill and protect this resource. Why would we do anything that threatens the future of our deer herd and the opportunity it provides the sportsmen. CWD has the potential to be a devastating blow to our deer population and the sportsmen deserve every precaution to prevent CWD from infecting this resource. NCWRC needs to keep regulating this deer farming activity and our elected representatives need to support efforts to keep CWD out of North Carolina . Dale Davis, Edenton, NC

This really needs to be vetoed, just a few years ago the CWD killed so many deer in NC that there was talk about closing deer season in certain counties. As of right now there are around 23 states that you cannot bring deer brain or spinal fluid back. This is a bad idea to the survival of our deer population in NC. Thank you

Cervids are not livestock. They have not been domesticated. Protect our wild herds, veto this bill. There is no benefit to raise cervids as cattle.

Request that sportsmen's concerns count more than a few business people. As a citizen and outdoorsman, I understand the ramifications of meddling with nature and it never works out. As a conservative, I ask for the governor to veto this bill.

Until we have a reliable method to detect CWD in live whitetail deer, we should NOT allow any WT Deer to be imported into NC.. We do not need to have "High-Fence" deer hunts either, no matter how big the fenced in area is! Please say NO to SB 513.

Deer farming is an immediate threat to NC's deer herd and hunting opportunities for NC's responsible hunters. Shooting an animal in a fenced in preserve is not sporting and is not something NC should support or be known for. We are better than that!! It must be stopped now before the consequences are irreversible.
