Auto business of this nature historically bring down property values. As a long time Orland Park resident I and strongly opposed to this type of business in our neighborhood.

Dwight Welch tried to tell the Orland residents that we have a hotdog stand and car repair shop. Yes, we do and the residents use those businesses. A Repo lot would not benefit the residents. It will only hurt our resale and may change our community in an undesirable way. We are a family, safe community and Do Not want a Repo lot.

I strongly oppose the proposed repossession lot at 17101 S. Wolf Road in Orland Park.
Approving this project would bring lasting harm to the surrounding neighborhoods. It would lower property values, disrupt the family-friendly character of the area, and create new safety and traffic risks. It would also make future redevelopment much harder by permanently shifting the area toward low-end industrial use.
Our community deserves better. I respectfully urge the Board to reject this proposal and to prioritize projects that enhance — rather than erode — the quality of life for Orland Park residents.
