I oppose the use of the stated property on South Wolf road to be used as a vehicle impound facility.

Certainly there is a better commercial location for this type of business other than near a residential area.

The land for the Repo Business is in a wetland. Currently the buses are house on gravel. Paving it will increase flooding. Also, the traffic is already heavy in that section of Wolf Road. The the proposed Repo business will only exasperate the problem. A large park is nearby where young children and teenager frequently play, Their safety will be endangered by the type of clientel Repo businesses usually attract. Our neighborhoods will be similarly endangered. I didn't spend a ton of money to have my family oriented neighborhood next to a business which will lower the valuation of my house. I pay too much taxes to have the County treat me this way. Unlike neighboring communities we in Orland Park pay our taxes which benefits everyone in the county. Do you really want our next assessment to show a decline in assess valuations which lowers the taxes we pay?

My family and I have lived in the subdivision across the street for 25 years and have always felt safe. Putting in this repo lot will make us feel unsafe and will hurt our property value.
