I totally oppose a repo lot in our beautiful community. This is totally absurd. There are a lot of other options for that property.

Bring in more upscale businesses and elevate Orland's reputation not bring it down with a repo lot. The homes near it deserve better.

There must be many other locations that can be used outside of Orland Park. This is NOT the place to put it. Maybe an industrial area off of I57

I’m writing to express my strong opposition of establishing a vehicle repo lot within a residential neighborhood. Allowing such a commercial operation would negatively impact the character and safety of the area and inevitably lead to a decrease in nearby property values.
Lower property values not only harm homeowners but also reduce the towns overall tax revenue, ultimately affecting public services and infrastructure funding. A repo lot, which involves frequent towing and off-hours activity, is incompatible with the quiet, family orientated environment our neighborhood was designed to support.
I urge you to reconsider the long term consequences for both residents and the town's finances. Please reject this proposal and prioritize developments that enhance, rather than erode, the quality of life in our community. Thank you!

This belongs in an area with high repossessions, where repossessions most likely occur; these vehicles will likely have smuggled illegal drugs, and these drugs that aren’t removed from these vehicles, will be sought out by those criminals looking to retrieve them, further escalating crime in the area. The firm seeking to operate a repossession facility here is isn’t prepared to provide the necessary security nor spend the funds to do so as it would be an unprofitable venture for them.
