This property is in a floodway and a floor plain both. The village over the last 6 years has been diligently working of a comprehensive understanding of creeks, ponds and preparing to effect changes to improve water management. They have acquired the northern neighbor parcel and are working on the issues with the formerly abandoned southern neighbor parcel, El Cortez restaurant. The County granting a special use permit here circumvents smart planning and village efforts
