This is a terrible idea for the piece of property described. As I understand it, the goal of Orland Park/Orland Township is to be more walk/bike friendly, and to provide safety to residents. This project seems counter to Orland Park's vision.

Absolutely not. completely inappropriate line of business in a community of this caliber. Find a remote dumping ground for this atrocious plan. No community of residents here will benefit in any way. Why would we invite unsavory interface of this type under any circumstance ? Your clients who sold the vehicles and their resultant payment default problems don't belong to us. Let the dealerships and their finance programs strike a deal to deposit said vehicles on their backlots under their surveillance and security. Orland police and fire undoubtedly would not welcome any need to be, by obligation, involved with any aspect of protection for this shameful plan under the guise of Cook County direction and underlying local position as likely first assist. We don't need creepers, criminals , guns, drugs or threats in our community. We solidly demand to disrupt and deny your plan nor do we invite potential crime or a garbage business anywhere in Orland. township. Take your slicksters and their intent on the road to a vastly remote area outside of our village or rent a farm parcel. erect some chain link, alarm and camera and tow your precious metal defaulted remnants there and deal with it independently within the domain of your own business obligations. The village meeting set the tone of disgust from all residents present. Interestingly the pamphlets presented at the village public meeting contained so many fails of proofreading it spoke volumes in itself as a representation of your company and of what is yet to come.
