We have been visitors to Borth y gest staying in one of the holiday cottages. There is nowhere to street park safely and without causing inconvenience to residents. The introduction of car park charges seems to be a very short sighted move, causing traffic chaos, affecting businesses, residents and visitors.

Have been visiting Borth y Guest for over 50 years and appalled at the prospect of being charged to park. I also need the toilet facilities more frequently than in my youth and their closure would make me think twice about visiting again. Charging for the car park would cause people to park all over the small village . Tourist hostile acts will rebound on local business. Please think again!!

This is ridiculous, it will also impact the economy of the village as less people will be inclined to go there if they have to pay!

Pay and display will not only encourage visitors to park on the roadside but ultimately blight the roadside with yellow lines to prevent this. Try a voluntary donations box to generate revenue for maintenance and improvement of local facilities.

Myself and my family live in Coedpoeth near Wrecsam and at every opportunity we come here for outings and I feel this charge is unjustified and unnecessary. Why spoil it just to make money, I would rather pay an extra few pence on local produce that would benefit the local businesses than line the pockets of faceless councillors that just don't do enough for the local people.

We have been coming for a good number of years to the area and one of the highlights is popping down to borth y gest and a lovely walk along the coastal path. This car park would not pay back the revenue cost for years but would damage the attraction and pleasure for both residents and visitors alike for many more after that. Let's keep a little of something everyone can enjoy free to all !!!

The car park is used by families predominantly & as such I believe that it should remain free. It is only a small car park & wouldn't generate that much revenue.

Parking charges will completely ruin the character of this lovely, peaceful village. Many people stop for only half an hour to take in the tranquillity of it all and just gaze at the vista. It is dreadful that the things which make Borth y Gest magical are to be snatched away!

Implementing parking charges in Borth y Gest will cause visitors to park on already congested roads leading to safety issues

I oppose the council's decision.

This would be a disastrous move for the local businesses, I go down to borth y gest on a regular basis for a short dog walk and a cuppa, if I have to pay for parking I'll find somewhere else to go. Ridiculous.

Just an excuse to make money by charging visitors to park at this pleasant spot. Local trade will suffer and those who do visit will just clog up the side streets.

Currently enjoy the Sea View cafe. If I pay to park the meal is more expensive and I'll go somewhere else
