Say No to Pleasant Valley Ranch, a Small Lot-Large Density Development in Williamson Valley

We want our home to be quiet and peaceful, without traffic noise and with abundant wildlife. This development would significantly impair that.

The small lot sizes that are so far from services, the lack of any responsible infrastructure like sewer and community water for such density, and the refusal to accept the county recommendations for open space in a plan all indicate this is not an appropriate development for the area.

We moved here 13 years ago to get out of CA to enjoy the beautiful country, not a bunch of small lot homes & traffic.

No. I have emailed all the representatives/Districts. WE all need to do that. How did this slide through all the Las Vegas Ranch purchases. Thought there were CC&R's This is the most beautiful land in all of Arizona. Go dump on scrub land somewhere else, Brooks.

I am definitely against this development. It’s not good for the county and the community.

PVR is NOT compatible with the other properties here, water, septic, traffic issues, the list of "cons" is extensive! NOT HERE!

This just makes me sick! What do these greedy developers do? Just drive around looking for areas they can ruin? They are running our amazing wildlife out. We must try to stop them.

Hell no! Even 40 ac parcels would impact the area. 10 ac parcels would absolutely pollute our aquifer. would not take long for the septic waste to reach our water level. There are so many reasons to stop this. Is the county going to wave the restrictions already in place against this. This is not a subdivision area it is open space that will be destroyed by Brooks. If this is allowed to continue, what is going to stop other developers from destroying the area. There are no positives to allow this and all negative impacts. Brooks will destroy the area and leave us to suffer with the impact.

The dangers that the proposed housing would pose to the wildlife and current residents are incomprehensible.

I moved out here for the beauty and seclusion offered by Long Meadow Ranch not for the encroachment of yet another subdivision. I thoroughly enjoy my 30-40 minute drive to town unencumbered by local traffic. Why on earth would a development company want to ruin what they already know is unwanted and grossly undesired by ranchers and residents who have already made their homesteads here. It wreaks of greed and financial gain at the expense of those who have already made this amazing sect of land their precious home. We don't need you stealing our water, ruining our commute, destroying our landscape, only to fill your coffers for selfish financial gain. Move on and move along!

The expense of the infrastructure will exceed the need of common sense. Horrible, build it off the 10 near Yuma!

I agree to the negative reasons of having a high density subdivision that would increase traffic and the impact on wildlife…contaminate water, etc.

I live on Upper Pass Road and oppose this development. I moved out here 17 years ago from Connecticut for “wide open spaces”. I could have stayed back in CT if I wanted neighbors so close. It would have a great impact, not only on the water system, the roads with traffic now as it is on WV road is out of control, and of course the affect on all the wildlife. Never mind, that this town can’t even support people when it comes to finding Doctors. So, they want to add more people???
