We don't live in San Fracisco or New York city where they are running out of space. There are plenty of affordable houses in the safe neighborhoods of Greensboro which is only a few minutes drive from Summerfield. People looking for affordable housing will most likely be working in Greensboro any way, why not also live there?

Mixed feelings. I love the wide open spaces and not having neighbors so close we can shake hands while we're still in our houses, however as we get older and would like to stay on Summerfield there is no option for them. I have clients that hear so much about Summerfield and would love to love to live here but the acreage is just too much for them to keep up.

I don't want to lose the rural character of this community. I am also very concerned about added traffic congestion and impact on the water table.

There is no reason that Summerfield should change up the zoning. People moved here with the understanding that we would have room between neighbors. Schools are already over their capacity.

Please let this be the great country feel that we moved here for and love. With one coming in there would be no way of stopping others. We moved here for the great place that it is. Please don't bring in low income housing. That may bring more crime.

We have problems with our water when there is a new housing developement. There is enough housing already here for lower income families all they have to do is look.

Once it's done, you can't undo it! Please leave the next generation something to remember you by.

I moved here to keep my kids in great schools and less crime. A safe place. Do not change that. I have to work two jobs to live here so more afforable would be great. But my children's safety and chance at life has no price.
