Could the proponents of the Summerfield Planned Development (PD) give the community at large an executive summary of their feasibility studies on the need for their PD; please just a simple executive summary not a useless tome; thanks? Amongst others, please let know the following: 1. We need to know the endless list of prospective employers bringing thousands of jobs to Summerfield. 2. We need to know the millions of barrels of crude oil beneath the ground of Summerfield. 3. We need to know what the cost of maintenance of additional administrative, finance, legal, policing and fire protection et al services with the PD implementation. Currently, Summerfield burns over 400K dollars in just administrative and finance services; why? 4. We need to know the stress on various resources – water, power, schools, transportation, hospitals, policing, fire departments et al. 5. We need to know where you are getting the new residents since there are no prospective employers with thousands of jobs relocating to Summerfield. The inference is that there is going to be some form local migration to the newly putative wealthy enclave of Summerfield. While you at it; please don’t forget to be build a “beautiful wall” of gold – that would be paid for by neighbors of a lesser god from the ‘blighted’ surrounding communities. 6. We need to know the new form of taxation based on the PD. For example, is it fair for a single family with say 6,000 sq ft paying the same amount of taxation with families in a high density lot with same square footage? 7. We need to put the interest of vested property owners – who elected to avoid hustle and bustle of city life, to raise families in a rural community - into consideration instead of usurpation by a tiny few. Please say NO to tyranny and avarice.

I served on the Comprehensive Plan committee for 3 years. Those that wrote the plan labored over details that sought to preserve the community's expressed desire to maintain its natural and cultural heritage. The proposed plan for a large scale PD does not comply with the objectives and policies as written in the Comprehensive Plan- which was created using the direct input provided by the constituents of Summerfield during several town hall "meet and greet " sessions.

I just moved to Summerfield last year, specifically for its rural feel, lack of densely populated cookie cutter neighborhoods, and quietness. This PD rezoning would take away all of those great things about Summerfield.

We moved to Summerfield from Greensboro 20 years ago for a rural environment with protected well water, not cluttered urban sprawl.

Another attempt to make rich, richer and make government bigger costing us more. Exactly the opposite of why we incorporated in the first place!

We would have stayed in Greensboro if we wanted the high density developments... No!

I urge the council to deny this request. It would be a travesty to go forward in the absence of adequate studies regarding impact on Summerfield schools (we already have kids attending class in trailers for Gods sake), water capacity plus traffic issues.

Please vote no! Couch does not care about anyone but his pocketbook! Look out for home investments, not him lining his pockets. Our water, schools, roads etc are at stake. The last meeting was a joke with all his employees speaking out as pro! A few don't even have Summerfield addresses!

We have lived in Summerfield for thirty- three years. We chose to live here because of the undeveloped land around us. We love nature and care about our environment. The proposed development would compromise our natural land resources, increase pollution and have a negative effect on the peace and solitude that we love.

We love the rural, peaceful environment of our home in Summerfield. PD will disrupt that environment producing traffic and pollution problems. that currently don't exist. That's why we oppose PD and will vote against any public official who supports it.
