Bad idea, will urbanize the town and increase the town government/budget/higher taxes with less representation. Vote No or be Voted Out is what I'm hearing about this. Keep Summerfield Rural.

This is a non-plan with no parameters and tailor made for developers who are in this for personal financial gain, with great potential permanent damage to residents as the by product .

The town council needs to go back to the drawing board and tighten up MANY loopholes that would let developers change Summerfield FOREVER!!!!

I have lived here since 1995 and my husband since 1972. There may be pockets closer to or bordering the Highways where this is appropriate but not on a blanket scale . Why not return to the .9 acre per building lot instead of the 1.3 acre that was approved several years ago.. There are many folks who do not want higher taxes or water and sewer bills and have moved to Summerfield for what it offered ...breathing space & rural land & the communities reflect that. Summerfield incorporated, not to become another part of Greensboro. . If folks what smaller lots, let them move to Greensboro. We are not Greensboro & do not want to become just another suburb with lots and lots of homes!!! Besides this move can not be good for the environment or the water table either! Please be grateful for what we have . Once ruined you can not retrace your steps to undo the damage.

Development as proposed would be a disaster to our well water, traffic patterns, and overall quality of life. The fact that a developer who doesn't even live in this area yet will benefit financially from ruining the quality of our lives/the area is preposterous.

Moved from a large city to Summerfield, BECAUSE of the "COUNTRY RURAL" setting! If we didn't want it we would have stayed in the city!! PLEASE KEEP SUMMERFIELD AS A BEAUTIFUL RURAL SETTING!!!!

Keep Summerfield the way it is. This will only lead to higher taxes.

I have read the plan and attended the public hearing meeting. I am convinced that no good could come from adopting Planned Development.

Improve what already exists. Refrain from cutting down more trees and building more industrial centers.
