Ive been a cleaner for over 30 years . This is absolutely ridiculous ! This is just another way of taking our money and our homeowners money . The rentals are already down from the past years . All of our supplies have gone up . The price of living has gone up but yet the pay hasn’t . Then the increase of taxes on our homeowners, now we have to figure out how we’re going to get these entitled nasty guest to pay more to get rid of their nasty , stinky trash . When their paying half the amount that they would have paid this time last year are already complaining that their paying to much as it is . We all would like to thank our lovely City officials for making our lives a whole lot harder so they can line their pockets a lil bit deeper.

This will be extremely hard on the cleaners and area small businesses. Especially with the centers being closed on Sundays!

If cleaners are not able to dispose of trash at the dump, they may start throwing everything away in the community dumpsters or find elsewhere to leave it.

I own two STRs and for the sake of my cleaners I hope you reconsider. This is a huge burden on them. sTRs are paying higher taxes than residents and should be allowed access to the garbage services based on this.

As property owners in Sevier County we feel strongly that we, and our cleaners who help maintain our property, should have equal access to garbage disposal sites.

Having cleaners pay to to dump will lead to much more trash on streets and at legal dumpsters. Plus the costs will pass through to higher nightly costs to guests. Bad idea all around!

This entire area's economy is sustained by tourism. I feel the local government should be serving both the citizens and the business owners while working to provide solutions to help both thrive. Making things harder on business owners is not the solution here. Putting fees on trash is not going to make less trash, it is just going to open up new problems. This area has had economic growth many communities bend over backwards for......we need to grow our infrastructure with it not add growth limiting fees.

We are property owners in Sevier County and already pay towards waste management in our taxes. My cleaner provides me a service and takes my garbage for me, yet now my service price might go up because I have to pay extra for her to dump garbage I am already paying to have dumped. I am not elderly yet, but my neighbors on either side are. They too utilize cleaners to help them with daily tasks and tidying as well as removal of garbage. While your intention may be to go after the Golden Goose that appears to be sitting in front of you or even the cause of our waste issues, there is going to be collateral damage visited upon the Legacy locals that don't deserve it. In addition, this will force people into situations where they begin exercising poor behaviors that may cause unintended consequences for the Wildlife including our bear population. Why would you ever make it harder to get rid of garbage?

Please don't allow fees for dumping trash, this is gonna cause a big-time mess with rentals because fees are gonna have to go up and it's already been very slow this year with travelers and it will cause more not to come and in return will hurt a lot of businesses in the county by a lot of travelers not booking in Sevier county

I have been a cabin owner in Sevier County for several years and my cleaners’ willingness to dispose of guest trash every turnover is an essential part of my business. These people work extremely hard in unpredictable conditions to keep vacation rentals operating smoothly, and I am concerned that the requirement to only dump at Center View will prevent my cleaners from being able to carry out their duties in a timely fashion. I have cabins located across the county and the time on the road and in traffic is already high for them without requiring them to stop off at a location that is not convenient to any of my seven properties. Please allow the cleaners to use all designated Convenience Centers so they can continue to keep properties clean and ready for our valued guests here in the Smokies.

I own a cabin and you’re asking my overworked cleaners to go out of their way to a central place-your already charging us multiple taxes- THATS TO COVER YOUR EXPENSES OF TOURIST-stop trying to be corrupt.

Just had a dramatic property tax hike, no need to kick us while we’re down, this will increase costs even more when overnight rental occupancies are the lowest years.

The tourists are what bring in the money to this town and provide jobs. The workers should not penalized for doing a job that supports the entire city. They are providing a service. In addition, will the people who work at these facilities have to make sure people are or are not cleaners? This is Orwellian.
