Allow Cleaners to Dispose Garbage from Overnight Rentals at Convenience Centers in County Limits of Sevierville Without Extra Fees

As an owner I am very concerned about the trash situation. These costs are being transferred to us and it will only make matters worse in that there will be long lines

We know what will happen if this is implemented. There will be more illegal trash dumping. Cleaners don't have time to travel out of their way to one designated dump. Sevier county is a financially healthy county because of the tourists and short term rentals and should be supportive of all aspects of that, esp with taxes going up for str owners. Also, I think convenience centers should be open seven days a week, as check out so often occurs on a Sunday. Illegal dumping will also encourage bears getting in trash. The infrastructure of the county has to grow to accommodate all aspects of the tourism we are blessed to have.

This will destroy our beautiful area.

This is targeting the wrong group. Cleaners should not be penalized for cabin trash created by guests. Make every property owner purchase a decal to use for the dump every year or add it to their yearly taxes as a trash fee. There is no way to regulate who is bringing personal trash vs cabin trash.

Not all cabins are in resorts with there own trash location. Dumps already have issues now and how are you going to tell the difference between a resident and a cleaner all the time. Cleaners are residents.

Between the high interest rates, real estate costs, and inflation, adding cost to cleaning fees for dumping will end up making the area unaffordable for travel. Ultimately, this will hurt the area tourism and economy.

This is the worst scam sevier co has pulled in a very long time. These rentals are what makes us who we are it's not dollywood. The owners and cleaners pay enough in tax money through out the year its crazy now they want to take away from the backbone of our area. Exactly what this will do is people will be throwing out this trash on sides of road

This is a vital part in running the STR market we have in the Smokies.

Come on we all pay taxes to help pay for these convenience centers.

With new revenue from tax hikes to owners, you should be putting in more trash facilities free of charge. These costs to cleaners ultimately will go to owners then to out of town guests. You are biting the hand that feeds you in an already shaky economy. Please rethink this and reverse the decision. Thanks.

We understand the landfill issues but putting an unnecessary burden on cleaners that provide a Necessary service to keep travelers coming back time after time is not a viable option.

Don’t make life harder for the cleaners. They have it hard enough already.

We all pay the taxes that fund the convenience centers and we should be able to use any of them.

Sevier county makes more than enough on tourism and taxes to have to charge cleaners to dispose of trash from cabins that pay taxes already... Greedy much ?
