I have a similar situation with a property I own in Hollywood, Fl. Reducing lanes in growing areas is stupid on its face. Why were the roads widened when they were? Because of traffic, duh. Why would you reduce them?

This idea is as ridiculous as making traffic circle. It seems to me that the council has nothing better to do with the money. They should start talking to states that have removed traffic circle. Narrowing 41 is a Ludacris idea.

I live 1 block off 41, when traffic gets bottle necked all the traffic will use side streets through my neighborhood to get around it. There is already too much cut through traffic in Lake Park neighborhood as it is. It is unsafe for the numerous children that play in the neighborhood.

As a City resident and business owner I am absolutely opposed to this idea. Traffic in high season is a nightmare as it is. This would be a huge negative for traffic.

Traffic will be cutting through neighborhoods when it backs up. Only the highway is made for the amount of traffic that travels on it. Make biking and walking paths on roads least traveled on. Well marked and lit.

More congestion, more accidents, which adds up to more insurance payouts and higher insurance premiums. This plan does not make any sense what so ever.
