Horrible choice of location. A block away from an elementary and high school? Better planning please!

Great idea, however horrible location...shouldn't be near any school...if it has to be near a school, put it near the school where the decision makers' kids attend.

This is the WRONG LOCATION for modular housing. It is within the proximity of three schools. Our children come first. They are the future of Canada.
Homelessness is a multifaceted problem. Providing temporary housing will not solve the problem. These people need other support systems.
Maybe we should consider building beside Mr. Gregor Robertson's neighourhood. Forgot that Mr. Robertson has a PRIVATE road for himself.
We must vote DOWN Mr. Robertson and Vision Vancouver!!!!!

I oppose the plan to build a shelter for the homeless on Cambie & w. 57st. I am concerned about the safety issue brought up by the plan.

There are so many better places that are more convenient for the people needing housing such as the vacant land by Marine Gateway and the Heather Street Lands (which is City land!)

Please relocate to a more suitable location; this puts our children in the area at high risk.

You have given us so little detail as to who will be living near us and our children. How are we to trust you when you do not ask for our help in completing a project like this.
I would welcome people that need help and are not dangerous, but you have not asked us.

This project is too close to schools grounds and senior / day cares. How do we know the City will do a proper job screening who lives in these units? Who will be liable if children’s health and safety is in danger due to the location of these shelters? What happened to the Mayor apology and promise to Vancouverites to be more transparent?
