You can’t take the safety risk of 2500+ students , stop it right now!

There are a few schools very close to that location. Many students are around that area. It is not an appropriate location for modular housing.

As property owners and voters, we are against the project and want the decision reversed. We are very concerned about the process of locating such a project without getting public consultation. On Monday, Mayor Gregor Robertson stated that the project will proceed despite the protests by the local residents. The decision is made even the information sessions have been completed. This is not how a democratic process should work.

Opposed to modular housing. My son attends school at Churchill and I am opposed to housing homeless people nearby which will bring social problems, such as drug abuse, addiction, etc; the same things that schools are working hard to protect the vulnerable youth from. The city is making a very bad decision!!

Wrong location. Risking the safety of all the children attending schools nearby is so ignorant of the mayor.

The tax payers are paying hefty tax in order to pay for the homeless to be hanging around near the formers' kids. what is the logic for this? The modular form for this kind house is a deliberate move trying to skip technically a much needed hearing with the residents of Marpole. Is there a conspiracy here?

My brother is studying at Jamieson school. As a 9 years old kid , he is willing and easy to accept everything new around him. I am really worry about building a modular housing around the school. Good idea, but wrong location. I have to say no for this project at this location

I absolutely dislike and disagree with the approach of how the city handled this issue. no one ever asked for thoughts from people living in the neighbourhood. My kids go to Jamieson elementary and will soon be going to Churchill secondary. I am very concerned about my kids safety if the modular housing were to built. But I cannot afford to move anywhere given the sky rock housing price. Please re consider the options as there are plenty of areas where there are less concentration of kids.

Do not adopt an absolutely wrong location for modular housing just because it is the “only” one available! Use a right location! Kids are more vulnerable. Consider them first.
