wrong location！people live in that location mostly are students and women! Their safety is a big concern if the shelter build there!!! Think about that and listen to their voice!

I am for subsidized housing and realize there is a need in this city, however having it right next to a elementary & high school is outrageous. This means they will be exposed to drugs and needles etc we don't need this next to our children's school.

Best location is next to Vancouver Police Headquarter, or next to Vancouver City Hall.

The location is too close to schools. As the problems happened in the East Hastings Homeless Shelter we don't want our children in risk.

While temporary housing is necessary for our increasingly cold winters, this location is far too close to schools and may compromise the safety of students.

Where is the transparency? Why was the neighborhood only advised now? When did these discussions begin, and why wasn't the neighborhood involved?

I have two kids and play in this playground a lot and I don't want to risk them picking up needles

Define its good to provide housing to those people but not beside the schools. We don't want our children get affected or feel insecure or frighten when they walked by.
The root of the problems should send those people to work!!! Even light jobs with some kind of salary.
