I object to the new fast food restaurant as it will increase traffic along an already congested road, it will attract the school children from the schools in the commune, and it will increase litter waste. This will not add anything possitive to our neighbourhood.

Ik ben een bezorgde lokale bewoner en ouder van een student aan de British School of Brussels. Ik heb om de volgende redenen bezwaar tegen de planningstoepassing van McDonalds om een ​​nieuw restaurant in Tervuren te bouwen: 1. meer verkeer 2. meer zwerfvuil 3. cynische uitbuiting van kinderen met 4 scholen in de buurt

Regarding health, I would not put a fast food chain right in front of a school, this would send the wrong message that fast food is ok. Instead let’s opt for something like a beer garden to strengthen our community feeling. There are hardly any places in tervuren where you can sit outside and enjoy food and drinks. Mc Donald is not this kind of place, it’s cheap and fast food.

Sorry but not having a McDonald’s in Tervuren isn’t going to stop any kids from going to any mc Donald’s, the only difference is a €3 bus ticket.

Already the most busiest and complex 100 meter public road in Tervuren, dangerous crossings, lights, 4 schools all on the main road Leuven-Tervuren. If the building of McD might have been considered to provide visitors to, for example the African Museum, with a quick meal - what a shame and pity to provide visitors to our area with something so foreign to the area they're visiting. They specially need something - locally from Tervuren (or at least Belgium) - to take away in their memories of the area/town, where they visited. PLEASE RECONSIDER and protect our town, the immediate area, the people living in the area and our local businesses.
