Nope, definitely not. Don't need it. And anyway, there's already a great place in the centre of Tervuren that serves burgers and (proper) frites.

Tervuren is an astonishing world class area which reflects the uniqueness and beauty of Belgium...that should not be given up for the sake of multinational profits (an ex-resident from Australia)

You have to urge friends who signed the petition also yo sent a formal complaint/objection to the Commune befor 31/07/20. You may assist those friends by preparing a "model format" letter that can be used by friends to send such a formal objection or you send in a formal objection letter to which the petition will be annexed.

This would be horrible because it is very unhealthy and it’s right next to a school!!

This will make the air smell horrible and is not flood and healthy for the school children like me

I live in the housing development behind Carrefour and have concerns about the Increased traffic and my children crossing the road to and from their school. There is already an issue with Carrefour traffic entrance and the children crossing on foot. I am also worried that putting a MacDonalds so close to schools allows easy access to fast food which may encourage unhealthy eating for a vulnerable age group.

Als inwoners van Tervuren lijkt het inrichten van een McDonald's ons niet compatibel met de aanwezigheid van de het park van Tervuren. Deze groene ruimte moet beschermd worden en het zal niet mogelijk zijn met een McDonald's restaurant in de naburigheid. De klanten kunnen hun maaltijd in het park meenemen als het weer mooi is en daarna, hun afval ter plaats laten. Dat is niet denkbaar in een geklasseerd park.

This type of multinational profit making enterprise will be detrimental for local eateries and cafés, plus encourage more discarded wrappings and plastic in the beautiful Tervuren Park. Positioned within walking distance of four schools cannot be good
