We love our town just the way it is!
No zoning changes! No overcrowded schools!
This is the town that banned chain stores and made McDonald's inhabit a colonial house! Let's continue to make Freeport a great place to live.

Development like this is not FREEPORT FRIENDLY. Destruction of an OUTDOOR sporting facility that has seen 75% growth in a pandemic year is not a benefit to anyone but KV Enterprises and LLBean

THANK YOU, for all this GROWING gathering of caring Freeport residents!! I do not support the zoning change! And I hope our Town of Freeport will look very carefully at options and details, before bowing to developers ideas ... with plans - and in THIS case, BIG changes - before our Freeport RESIDENTS have a chance to research and weigh the impact on US, and OUR community!

I want Freeport to stand by its comprehensive plan and NOT to change its zoning ordinances to accommodate development proposed by KV enterprises. This development is not aligned with the culture and character of Freeport and would be detrimental to the quality of Freeport's rural zones. In addition, changing our current zoning would disrupt an already congested flow of traffic in the areas of Desert and County Roads. NO ZONING CHANGES! Stand by our vision!

Progress should be about quality, not quantity! Rezoning will bring horrendous traffic and will degrade our town!

I am all for growing the town but should be within zoning and reflecting the rural nature of the town, with nature space between homes.

Please do not allow KV Enterprises to sway the council or anyone to change the zoning to allow them to move forward with their planned development. There are numerous reasons to reject their proposal, however; one of the most important is the fact that our schools and school system overall, cannot handle a population growth of 500 families. Our schools are bursting at the seams as it is without the added growth in population.
