I’m also finding it difficult to understand how LLBean could make such a poor decision against the Town of Freeport and its supportive residents. I could think of numerous other uses that would generate revenue for LLBean and improve the land use so it remains within the 20 year long term plan that so many people spent hours and hours developing.
I think you get my feelings that any request for a change of zoning allowing KV Enterprises to proceed with this proposal should immediately rejected. Thank you.

So much about this situation concerns me greatly. To begin with, who is KV Enterprises? Who stands to gain if this project goes forward? Many questions to be answered here and I am at a total loss to understand what legal basis would support this proposed zoning change. I am listening but I am a long way to be convinced that this is a good idea.

We do not accept the requests from KV Enterprises' requests for zoning amendments for lots 25 and 38, maps 22 and 26- please reject them as changing the zoning would violate the vision for Freeport that is outlined in the comprehensive plan. We can't handle that many people.

Please reject the KV application for development. The town will not benefit from this large a plan which would overwhelm our services and cause major traffic issues. We would like the town to aim toward protecting more open and rural space. Some limited additional “affordable” housing would be a good idea as well as more focus on “revitalizing” the downtown area. Thank you!
