KFC only targets young people who are already categorised as obese. I thought the aim of local government was to improve the health and well-being of future generations and educate them so they are able to make healthy long-term choices. A KFC drive through right next to a primary school is a terrible message to send young people. The proposed site is residential and a prime location to catch children to and from school. To target children in this way is criminal. I am also shocked that no letter was sent to my house outlining these proposals. I live on Manor Park Road and have never received any notification of this development.

We already have a KFC in the high street with all its rubbish, and a lot of pub food & resturants. The location is a dangerous place and to near a junior school

The traffic around the roundabout is already extremely congested and causes traffic problems further back up Manor Park Road and the High Street - a drive through in that location will only make it worse - West Wickham would come to a standstill!

The traffic caused by people coming in and out of the Drive Thru would be just chaotic. We see it now up the road at McDonald's. There is already a KFC up the high street and a McDonald's just down the road to name but two fast food restaurants in close proximity to this site - why do we need another? Furthermore, a local estate agents themselves has said how they've seen the detrimental effect that the opening of McDonald's had on house values in the surrounding area - and it would be a great and unecessary shame to see this happen again. These reasons alone should be enough to make any reasonable person see why the KFC drive thru should NOT be built under any circumstances.

Against KFC in that particular location as it is an already busy road junction which has become more congested especially at peak times following the change in the Bridle Rd traffic lights. Maybe a block of flats would be better rather than more food outlets as there are already so many in the High Street and beyond.

This should definitely not go ahead. Apart from the fact that West Wickham does not need another fast food restaurant and there is already a KFC in the High Street. The propsed siting is on an already dandergous and conjected roundabout. It will be madness is this plannign application gets the go-ahead.

We have enough fast food restaurants in West Wickham we dont need anymore! The Government are trying to cut down on the obesity crisis and here we are fighting to stop another fast food place opening and this is exactly why I am objecting. As a Health Coach I help people become healthier in the local community having another fast food place goes against my principles!

I think local councillors need the heads examined are they deliberately being mislead because the surrounding area to the proposed sight is covered with retirement homes one of these homes is directly opposite the proposes KFC sight and the other retirement sight is behind what an earth are they thinking the people in these homes deserve to see out the rest of their lives in peace and harmony not to be harassed by the horrendous noise pollution and the litter bugging that will escalate outside of their homes say no to this idea and let the elderly live in peace.

We absolutely do not need another fast food outlet in West Wickham, whether it be a drive-through or not. It will be a magnet for anti-social behavior, and empty chicken boxes thrown out of car windows.

Having a larger KFC will ruin the lovely area of West Wickham. There is already too much rubbish created from the small one in the High Street. We don't need it! The property they want to ruin has a lovely garden area, which would be an ideal place for a lovely family restaurant where people can relaxe and watch their children play safely.
