I object to the KFC proposals. It is not needed as there are alreaday many fast food outlets in area including a KFC.It could well be detrimental to the surrounding woodland.A first welcome to west Wickham would be a KFC - not a very attractive idea.

I live opposite the proposed kfc site and I defo do not want this. The noise, the traffic, the rubbish and the undesirables kfc will attract is not what I want. I have seen wildlife ie beavers ducks etc on the riverside and think this will harm their natural habitat. We have a kfc in the high St we don't want any more take aways. I have looked into moving because of this proposed kfc.

the traffic along this extremely busy road is already horrendous. Please do not add to it with yet another fast food restaurant.

My main concerns are regarding traffic and potential gridlock on such a busy road. I have witnessed this very problem when MacDonalds on Wickham road is busy. As children are accompanied across the road right outside the proposed KFC site, this could also cause a disastrous problem when queues build to use the drive through. It is essential that any measurements done on traffic are done during school times to get a true reflection.

A real shame if this goes ahead. We have a KFC in the high street that caters for KFC fans. That's enough I think. Don't spoil this lovely building.

I live close to McDonalds and have to put up with the traffic chaos and litter issues. It will be much worse by that roundabout

To Lisa: what are you insinuating about who will get the jobs? Those people that don't want to sit on their asses and claim benefits that's who! Do you want to elaborate? Even you want to say something about KFC's hiring policy, come out and say it??

Thetraffic congestion is bad , driving out from the proposed site is near a roundabout andalso a school where children cross the at the roundabout. a very dangerous crossing which will be 10 times worse if this goes through . So mant food outlets in west Wickham already. Including a KFC!! road at the best at times

Toe-b you must be a fellow KFC lover like myself. Colonel Sanders would be proud of you. These snobs in the WW residents association and traders association have got nothing better to do. They all eat KFC. They should look at themselves. Classless they are. Why is it KFC's fault that the odd chicken box is throw in the street? if they are concerned about litter on the streets, they should ask the council to enforce litter patrol units and fine the culprits. don't blame hard working business men for loutish behaviour of a few local residents.

KFC is the best fried chicken shop out there. Better than Morleys, southern fried chicken, Dixie Chicken and Foxy Chicken. I love the finger lickin taste of Colonel Saunders secret recipe of 11 different herbs and spices. You idiots are such hypocrites, there is not a single one of you who hasn't eaten KFC. Your happy to eat it but can't stand the people who run it. There is no way that you can stop the drive thru. You will all be down there to stuff your faces. Just make sure that you drive safely to and from the site and throw your rubbish in the bin and not in the streets. I'll see you down there fools. Lol David

From a traffic point of view this proposal is dangerous e.g. - enter and exit on to main road near a blind bend, existing problems with traffic queueing along the main road to get into The Alders at busy times, on a busy roundabout - NO!!!
