Adding my name to say 'no' to fast food outlets, selling food saturated with fat within 400 metres of schools, as recommended by the London Assembley. We have plenty of 'choice' offered by existing fast food outlets within a 0.5 mile radius of the proposed KFC including a drive through McDonalds.

We've already got one in west wickham, why do we need another? Us residents do not need any more take away restaurants, just leave it be.

so we will have a McD and a Kentucky within 500 metres or so of eachother...? Do so many people in WW so want to eat crap food that this is necessary? As someone says earlier, we already have a KFC in the high street, I don't notice crowds of people jostling to buy one. Terrible idea...

The wrong sort of replacement establishment to replace La Rioja. West Wickham does not needed more urbanisation.

This would be an unnecessary addition to West Wickham, which is already adequately catered for with fast food outlets. The location is not the right venue for this style of food outlet. It would end up changing the village for the worse.

Great space for a lovely family pub or restaurant with a great garden . KFC will bring rubbish and traffic to an area that already has a drive through moments down the road . Shirley/west wickham does not need this type of fast food chain in an area that already has very few places for outdoor drinking/eating with the family

Only suitable for out of town developments! Too many disgusting smells, too much traffic on an already congested road at peak times (just look at the teaffic chaos at McDonalds down the road)

I feel this would be a blight on the local community and feel cause massive traffic disruption. Where the entrance and exit would be is already a bottle neck between west wickham and shirley and would make it worse by KFC being there.

I do not want a KFC opposite my house. The stream will be ruined the wildlife killed traffic will worsen and undiserables from surrounding areas will be attracted to come to KFC

A KFC drive-through in the heart of West Wickham is neither wanted nor needed. It is at best unnecessary when we already have a KFC up the High Street, plus three or four more crappy fast food outlets, and there's a drive-through McDonald's in what used to be the Shirley Poppy half a mile along the road. At worst, it will undoubtedly cause increased traffic congestion, anti-social behaviour in a residential area and litter problems. I am not being unfair when I say that KFC has a justifiable reputation for attracting the worst members of society. I was sad when the White Hart became La Rioja but at least the maintained the character of the building, which dates from 1908; needless to say, KFC would completely destroy the character of the building as well as the surrounding area.

Me and my family are totally dismayed at this proposal. The traffic, noise and run-off will pollute the stream and destroy the wildlife oasis of High Broom woods, a beautiful oasis in west wickham enjoyed by many local people. Owls nest and fish swim in the stream. The roads are already heavily congested. This proposal brings no benefit to an area that already has many takeaways.
