Don't need another fast food place, we have enough

This is a very busy stretch of road and the siting of a drive-thru fast food outlet here would cause even more congestion.

As there is already a KFC on the high street it is completely unnecessary to have another. The proximity of a primary school is also of concern and highlights an irresponsible and immoral attitude of those allowing the development

This is not the right place for a KFC!

I object to this development on the grounds of increased traffic and risk of accidents, especially as it is next to a school crossing and I am against the ever increasing tide of fast food outlets. They are unhealthy and unnecessary

We don't need yet another outlet selling unhealthy food at low prices, accessible to young people both by proximity and price. It's not a promotion of free choice to allow our kids to eat themselves ill. Would you object to seat belts? Would you promote selling cigarettes to under 16s? Also, ues, the gardens to the place are lovely and it would be great to have them enjoyed again.

Multiculturalism is being killed by many things in Britain, from UKIP to the current affairs media, but that site will mean nothing to me other than La Rioja. Convenience food does not only increase the chance of Type 2 Diabetes (particularly in an area surrounded by schools), but it also increases discrimination and apathy towards international cuisine. Fuck off, chicken-frying corporate fat-arsed snobs!

The effect this would have on local residents is totally unacceptable.

I am totally against this, there is a KFC not even a mile away!!! This lovely old building and grounds deserves something better than just another KFC, going ahead with this will have a negative impact on our local community, it's only 300m from the local school, will cause traffic jams and pollution. Please STOP this Bromley Council

As many people have already said, West Wickham and ajoining Shirley are quiet, residential areas that, until recent years, have been a pleasant area to live. However you look at it, a fastfood outlet of that size and location is going to destroy this, much in a similar way as McDonalds has done. I am a manager at a small business based in West Wickham. The concerned site is located on the main route between Croydon and Bromley and already suffers from terrible traffic conjestion to being situated on a very busy round about and badly manged crossroads.

Do not want KFC coming to West Wickham a drive through would be awful. Traffic, rubbish, anti social behaviour would be be biggest concern for the area.

This is definitely not the right location for a drive thru take away, it will cause too many problems with traffic especially.

The site is near a school where young children are passing with already heavy traffic on the road. We already have a MacDonalds drive thru and a perfectly good KFC in the High Street. With the resultant extra traffic, litter and also ruining what was a peaceful area I am totally against this proposition.

More traffic, more noise, more litter and another chain west wickham residents don't want. Jog on KFC.

As a resident of West Wickham, have a son who goes to school in langly and also live right at the back of this I strongly appose the proposal of a large KFC drive through restaurant. Such an establishment will do nothing but create mess, noise and extra unwanted traffic. There are lots of schools in the area and we do not need the pupils including my own two children being encouraged to eat such low grade high fat junk food. The proposed site is a residential area and any fast food restaurant will be an eye sore. A restaurant of such nature will also attract unwanted visitors from neighbouring boroughs who will no doubt congregate on the premises and make nothing but mess and noise. In times like these where property and space is hard to find I urge you to ensure this particular site is not wasted on a fast food chain that profits from animal cruelty and contributes to child obesity!!! Allowing this to happen would be encouraging people to eat unhealthy food & will put a burden on the NHS, the councils already struggling waste disposal team will be put under extra pressure. Can you imagine how much vermin will be attracted to the site with all the food waste ( chicken bones) disposed of in the street. Yours sincerely, grant dimtry

Apart from access onto a round-about being dangerous, I consider that this fast-food chain would be detrimental to the hard-working independent eating establishments in West Wickham high street.
