KFC cant look after the shop they have got already in the high street, litter everywhere from KFC food all over the floor disgusting, and the new proposed site would cause traffic chaos.

A KFC here would be an environmental disaster for this part of West Wickham. apart from the litter and people hanging arous the area, which is adjacent to sheltered accommodation for the elderly and close to a primary school, the increase in traffic at an already blackspit for queuing traffic and resulting polution from exhsusts, it it is beside a school crossing patrol. utter madness!

I thought the Government were trying to ban fast food outlets being opened next to schools! This would be dangerous, being so close to the roundabout and where the lollipop lady crosses the children to school.

Absolutely no need for a KFC, especially within a few hundred meters of a school. There must be a million better things to do with the site than stick a KFC there.

WHY on earth would the council approve this application???? It would be a travesty if this fantastic spite was wasted on yet another fast food place which the high street has no need for and local residents have no desire for. PLEASE think about what could be there instead which might bestow a little more positive benefit to the local community and the local economy.

The character of High streets change over time. In Surburban environments they reflect the needs of the local population. So the influx of Building Soc s in the 1980s was replaced by an explosion of estate agents many of which remain. West wickham has a reasonable cross section of independent retailers which help to maintain its character. Fast food outlets destroy ambiance rather than enhancing the neighbourhood. People come into the shop to be served immediately and leave quickly sometimes abandoning the packaging inappropriately.. Is not the supply of fast food already sufficiently catered for?

Can we also get rid of the one on the High Street? Nothing lowers the standard of a street/town as much as a KFC.

Terrible traffic problems, danger to local schoolchildren and elderly people from the increase in traffic, already a KFC in the High street, out of character in this area
