Please drive down the street and see what is going to happen. Is this really good for the environment to have cars idling ?

I support the position outlined in this petition to facilitate maximum egress from the downtown core of Mill Valley in the event of an emergency.

I believe reducing Miller to one lane each way will cause congestion similar to that seen daily on E Blithedale.

Miller needs to stay 4 lane for reasons stated in petition.

As a resident in a cut-through area, we already have a significant problem with cars speeding by at high traffic times which will only get worse with reduced lanes of traffic. It's dangerous for our children, pets, cyclists - everyone.

Please maintain two lanes of traffic in each direction on the entire length of Miller Avenue, from Willow St. to Millwood St. to prevent increased traffic congestion.

Who came up with this? Bicyclist before residents? How much tax do the bike riders pay? Keep two lanes on Miller. No construction without representation!

7/29/17- as it is I can not come into Mill Valley on either Miller or East Blithedale for my business or to support your local businesses. The traffic in and out of town is a nightmare. Please honor the community approved Miller Avenue Streetscape Plan and maintain 2 lanes in each direction on Miller Avenue. Thank you for your consideration. Ellen Kutten

Please do not prioritize week-end tourist bicycling to the much more serious daily congestion of what one-lane traffic will produce!

Only one lane each direction on Miller would be a disaster.

Reducing the lanes on Miller as proposed is bad because: * The already terrible traffic problems on East Blithedale would become worse * It could be the difference between life and death with emergency vehicle slowdowns * when the new businesses at the MV Lumber yard open we absolutely need both lanes * Traffic is already everyone's biggest complaint in Mill Valley. * Yes, it would be nice for bicyclists, but we simply do not have the infrastructure to warrant this change. It simply makes no sense For all of the above reasons.

Please don't bottleneck up our community! Please leave two lanes on Miller. The voices of a few local folks should not hold hostage the whole town.

I feel two lanes all the way onMiller is critical for maintaining safe and even traffic flow.

Two lanes each way are needed. The town is growing, not shrinking. The traffic jamb now with construction and only single lanes should be a warning.
