I believe traffic will take neighboring streets With Miller Congestion. Miller is a main thoroughfare for residents and visitors. Why make it more restrictive for traffic flow? Seems less safe for bikes and pedestrians.

We should stay with the original plan which was approved. We need 2 lanes inbound and 2 lanes outbound to alleviate our terrible traffic congestion on East Blithdale. DO NOT REDUCE THE LANES!

Please consider this petition and vote against the proposal pending to narrow Miller Avenue to one lane of traffic. The town has been in knots during this construction and we need relief!!

Miller Avenue is congested as it is. Please do not reduce it to one lane each direction. That would only serve to make Mill Valley a less livable place.

Adopting this one-lane study, mid-stream, before the current project is completed, throws out 5 years of study and preparation. It would not be responsible process, it would be a knee-jerk reaction. That's not a responsible action by a governing body.

Please don't make miller one lane. For those of us living west of Miller our only option for going down town is through back streets toward the lower portions of Miller. Decreasing the number of lanes will simply divert traffic through back streets all of the way - Sycamore, Park Terrance and even through upper Cascade Canyon.

Traffic in MV is a issue, there is a plan in place and it should be followed.

Why change a plan that has taken years to refine? Is this at the request of a few residents at the expense of the rest of us?

With the number of cars that already function in Mill Valley coupled with the fact that there are only two access roads in and out of Mill Valley, it is hard to follow the logic of narrowing down what already fails to serve.

Please do not reduce the number of lanes on Miller from 2 to one. I was just on Miller and two lanes are so necessary for the amount of cars and bicyclists to travel smoothly and quickly.

I think that making changes to a plan that was so thoroughly and carefully negotiated to meet all parties needs should be very carefully considered. Mid-construction project doesn't sound appropriate - it seems like some parties came back to renegotiate with little notice after all the other parties went home. Stick with the plan that was agreed or go through a full evaluation and public comment period.
