It is really a travesty that these students, many of whom have grown up in the Alta Vista system, were given no voice in the matter by their district leadership.

The school name should stay the same. Why? because it's a decent name and that will just confuse parent everyone. nobody is going to end their child to a school called Guadalupe Centers High school that is way to long and doesnt sound rite. alta vista the name sounds better and connect with the history that this school has had. Alta Vista sounds more academic in my opinion. actually no it is a fact.

The school should keep its original name, Why ? Because the the school name goes with the school history. Plus, what's the whole point of changing the name ? No need the school has been known as Alta Vista Charter School why start confusing everyone.

The name Alta Vista High School is known because of our sports. We have built this name up and it has so much history behind it. We as students are the one who represent it, not only because we attend the school, but because we wear the apparel. So our voices are the most important than any administrators who think otherwise.

I don't like the idea that's going to change. The name represent and means a lot to us even it's our history. It wouldn't be the same of who we are n how we will represent AVCHS. the negative impact it will have on us if. ALTA VISTA CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL always will be no change. No GUADALUPE CENTERS HIGH SCHOOL reject.
