I have attended this school all four years and I would hate for the name to change to "Guadalupe Centers High School." The name Alta Vista has so much history behind it and we have come a long way from that basement in the church. I played basketball under Alta Vista all four years and proud to represent my school apparel. Changing the name will have a lot of negative effects. It does not even sound good to say (just saying.)

Alta Vista is the name of the school I went to and I would love for it to stay that way plus the new names are ugly. So heck no keep the name of Alta Vista.

The name AV is apart of our history now; it's how all of this started. It's as if we're being branded by GCI. Plus the name is ugly. We should have a voice in the decisions that affect our school.
