I hope HK resorts can reconsider this matter and find a better solution to golf cart parking than to take away a very rare lawn area

Just rediculus to have a parking lot between tennis court and the swimming pool , it is unhealthy to the tennis players and the swimmers! We should all withdraw our DBRC membership if HKR keeps on pushing this idea as a last resort

No matter how small or large a parking lot on our nice lawn area, it would definitively completely destroy the ambience and atmosphere of the entire club.
Just imaging our very successful events like the Nations Cup and Charity cup. The lawn area is just the center of a lot of activity during those days. But not only on those events but also during other events for instance adult or youngster team matches alike it is a popular space.
And overall many people take a rest on the benches after and before the play. Just imaging now golf cars taxiing in and out. That would not be enjoyable anymore.
I just sincerely hope that the club management respects the opinion of the large majority of its tennis community.

Setting up a parking lot not matter how large or small in the "park yard" of our residents cup destroys entirely the atmosphere in the club.
Just think about all those wonderful events like charity cup or nations cup. Also when having league matches the lawn area is very intensively used by the youth.
Having a parking lot there... This is absolutely a nightmare!

The only green open area there. We need this for important family and social sport gatherings in the club. The club does not need this parking inside and never did.

Construction of this so-called ancillary car park is unfounded, unreasonable and quite simply irresponsible. What is wrong with the "ancillary" parking located on the street alongside the pool? Why is the old car park by courts 7 and 11 being used for big, ugly unsightly trucks/lorries and commercial vans? Digging up a green space, currently used for RECREATIONAL purpose, when there are a few possible viable spaces in the vicinity is irresponsible and irrational! I have been a member of the DBRC since 1997, served on the club tennis committee for 10 years, worked with 4 different club managers, seen 2 club renovations, that all made sense . This plan makes absolutely no sense!

If DB Resorts really cares about the community, they would be transparent and inclusive when making decisions about the place we call home. This is just a business to them, but to residents it's their HOME!
