Doesn't fit the comprehensive plan for the village or the specific plans to make this area a distinctive gateway to the village, which was the whole point of buying that parcel in the first place. How do you sell it at a loss for a yse that us in non compliance with your own code? How do you go against your own plan commission's unanimous no vote? How do you vote for it when no one has made a clear case for it? Or, has refuted any arguments made against it? There is also no pressing need for a business of this type in this area, it is well served by gas stations and convenience stores close by already. Doesn't make sense, is bad for the village, and this is before even taking into account the impact on those who live within the immediate area.

Way to close to the school.
Too many children walking about before and after school to have a high traffic gas station .
It's absolutely ridiculous that you would have even considered it.

I attended the last board meeting where they approved the gas station plans. They didn't really care what all the people said. Our neighbors and residents who live here only got 3 minutes to speak. The True North folks had all the time they wanted. They appear to be playing fast and loose with the zoning policies. I wonder why? Sad.

Absolutely NO. Ridiculous that it's even being considered right by a school. Seems to me Glen Ellyn no longer wants to be what it's strived to be but rather like every other town surrounding us which then what is the benifit to pay more to live somewhere special for our families. I'm sure property values which go down and slowly the town will become just like the neighboring towns
