I feel that this is not the best site for a gas station due to heavy traffic already in this area. With the addition of a gas station would only increase this already existing problem.

Leave it green with area to welcome to GE. Might have a neat little restaurant or ice cream parlor.

Glen Ellyn resident since 1970. There is absolutely no good reason to approve a gas station at Five Corners.

This is not keeping with what Glen Ellyn represents! The neighborhood will be drastically impacted if this goes ahead as planned!

Please put something healthier and more sightly near historic Stacey's tavern and Forest Glen Elementary. There's really no need for a gas station! It will look terrible too.

I lived in Glen Ellyn for 20 years and still drive through that five corners intersection every day on my way to work. The previous gas station was unsightly and unsuccessful. This would be no different. There are plenty of retail needs that could be met on that corner and not have the negative impact that a gas station would.

I reside at 332 Pennsylvania Ave in Glen Ellyn. A 24-7 gas station next to a school selling liquor is not right it doesn't belong there and the traffic congestion is already a problem. It doesn't belong there it is next to homes. Come on!

This is an eye sore for home on ELM street (desirable Lake Ellyn quadrant), traffic backs up on MAIN for Forest Glen, accidents are bound to occur on ST Charles as people pull out slowly from station and are hit by speeders on Geneva heading East. 7-11 will crush the convenient store, crime will go up, you'll see even more broken glass and trash on ST charles, home values will suffer, lights will be bright, chemicals will flow into an Unwanted retention pond, AND this is Positively NOT what the entrance to our beloved town should look like!!!!
How could anyone with any sense of civic pride or Aethetics think this is a appropriate.
I think people are horrified by what this would look like.
And from a pure business perspective this will be an unperforming station which will be neglected by True North.
The people behind Walgreens are NOT happy with what has happened. It's a mess behind Walgreens.
And honestly you'll see lots of trash on Elm alongside the 7-11 and the alley. We feel for the people who live directly next door to 7-11 and have to contend with the 24-7 existence of a convenience store.
Come on Glen Ellyn!!!
We can do better! Our town deserves better!
And let's face it- there's lots of gas options on Notrh Ave and further W on Geneva.
