The infrastructure (Roberts Road condition and intersection with Glade) cannot support additional traffic. If the church is so concerned with "community" why would they make a bad problem in it's community worse for the sake of profit? Also, the construction vehicles will further damage the already awful road.

I totally oppose the Covent redevelopment of their property. I live adjacent and have attended meetings and they change and lie at every turn and preach about their mission not concern about destroying our value with their dense program. 5104 Auburndale, Colleyville,

Please have mercy and leave some green in Grapevine. The builders have raped enough of our land.

I must admit being somewhat skeptical about missions with goals to be profitable. Before I could make a final decision regarding re-zoning, I would need to know why this mission could not be accomplished using land already zoned for assisted living centers. If the reason involves profitability, then I am opposed to the rezoning.

I feel the soccer fields should be left as they are. If soccer fields aren't needed there anymore a green space would be more beneficial to our citizens. Who owns the land the soccer fields are on?

If you lived in this area you'd know this is terrible idea for increased traffic. How does this fit in with our city's lower density? We just voted out city council that was trying to push this type of thing on us.

The church has done nothing to consider the community around them. They are going to charge around 60k a year PER 300 square foot room for 96 rooms. They are looking to make a lot of money. I attended their church meeting this Saturday. Quote from the pastor, "it is not our responsibility, nor will we fix or help pay for Roberts or Glade road. We are only focused on building on our property." This shows lack of care, responsibility and commitment to the community impacted. He went on to say it is the city of Colleyville and the citizens issue, not ours. This shows how we will be treated during this 4 Year Project. They are impacting us and seem not prepared or do not care. They host town halls, but spend more time telling people their plan versus address directly the concerns of the neighbors with action. Next time you drive on Glade where the road merges to one lane, think if adding 96 rooms, staff, visitors even makes sense.
The plan will have everyone enter on Glade after Roberts Rd. Note - a fire truck or long service truck will probably not be able to turn into the main entrance and will need to go around on Roberts to service the community. This makes no sense.
The church has several other properties and are NOT going to build a retirement home because they indicated the demographics are not right. Meaning- we can not get folks to pay that much for retirement homes. This will impact us for a long time.
