Most inmates don't even want to spend 2 hours a day trying for their GED. How are they going to get through college courses. Let their families pay for the tuition just like us law-abiders have to do.

STOP all scholarships for PRISONERS...why is it my child, who worked her but off to make A/B honor roll, did not get one single DIME to attend college and yet these thugs and lowlifes who have done nothing but FEED OFF SOCIETY don't have to earn ANYTHING? and get EVERYTHING...enough is enough...it's time this country awards good behavior and neglects bad behavior...PERIOD

NY told me that if I had children they would pay for my education but being single and owning my own home they refused any assistance, so I've worked extra jobs and I continuing my eduction piece meal. No freebies for law breaks. Give law abiding citizens first chance at assistance.

This is bull, I work my butt off to pay for people who should NOT be on Medicaid ( a separate joke New York) why should I pay for college for convicts? What do I get out of this? higher taxes that's what I get. New York sucks!!!
