What about my children that have to pay for college. It be better to commit a crime, go to jail, then to college. That would be my plan if I didn't already go to college.

This is a disgrace, I'm a law abiding citizen and up to my ears in debt from college. These horrible humans get free college on my dime?! I don't think so.

I worked 2 jobs to pay my college tution and took out my loans why should a felon get a free ride. I lived on ramen noodles and spagettios cause its what I could afford for 4 years. The get free room, free healthy meals, free health care better then we get, cable TV, free internet, what do the GOOD people get the bill.. wrong Mr Cuomo wrong

Absolutely not.My kids and I paid our way.I have grandkids with thousands in loans.New York is great for giving away taxpayers money.

I am a schoolteacher in this 'fine" state of NY. I pay taxes and I'll be dined if I have to pay back 90,000 dollars of student loans while drug dealers, users, rspists, child molesters, thieves and the like get a free ride. How about helping the middle class survive. I sure could use an extra $5,000 a year to pay off my loans.
