Absolutely insane..I'm 30 yrs old now.. A single mother and all I want at this point in life is to so desperately finish my education. It turns out I have to pay for it all on my own. go figure hard work pays off!! Nobody should be given such a gift, especially not a criminal!!!!

Enough of rewarding the lowlifes in this state!! How about helping out the tax-paying, law-abiding people???

I do not support "free collede " education to the people in jail. It is a ridiculous. What abour all the college loans that the kids have to pay back--when they can't even find good jobs after they graduate!?!!

STOP GIVING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY AWAY!! If Governor Cuomo wants to pay for prisoner college tution, let him pay for it out of his own pockets. My family has been here legally for 2 generations, I paid for my college tuition and my kids are paying for their tuition. STOP THIS NOW AND STOP THE DREAM ACT IN THE STATE SENATE!

I could never attend as I did not have the money--how unfair that someone who breaks the law and is a thud can get a free college education. I had to take one course at a time at night after working a daytime fulltime job.

give me a break! educated prisoners?? I could certainly use that money being the suny graduate student that I am, trying my best to do what I can with these rediculous loans. at least ill be positively contributing to society after one more year.

You shouldn't have to commit a crime to get an education. My son can't afford a college education and he works 60 hours a week. How do you justify that?

Young, honest students struggle with the overwhelming cost to get their college degrees and you want to give it to prison inmates for free?! That is absolutely unacceptable! Why should they be rewarded?!

I paid for my education with work, work, and work. I did not commit a crime so other who work, work, work can pay for my education for me.
