What is WRONG with this picture?? Our younger generation will be paying dearly for college tuition, when convicted felens are serving time for murderer, robbery, sexual assalts on kids, and women!!!!! this is a digrace for taxpayers!

My kids won't receive a free education. My husband and I both work full time and are having a hard time saving for our kids college. I know we won't receive any aid. Where is the fairness in this?

I'm a mother of four, work a full time job, and have to scrape together $2500 to take 2 classes a semester at a SUNY school. I cannot support a plan that would give a criminal access to the same education I am working so hard to provide for myself.

As a young adult, I cannot even recieve financial aid enough to go to college for free due to my parents having good jobs. I think it is absolutely absurd that prisoners would be able to get free bachelor's degrees when I might be drowning in student loan debt. I am not okay with this and glad that Mr. Grisanti is doing something about it!

Too many hard workibg people cant even afford college. Why should we all pay for free education of prisoners? Cuomo just keeps taking from the middle man for his liberal agenda.

I had to take out tens of thousands of dollars in loans to further my education. I do not agree with paying for any HIGHER EDUCATION for inmates. How is this fair or equal? Do we believe in rewarding wrong doing now?

How about educating our law-abiding children? Once one breaks the law, one loses some of the perks of being a citizen. If NYS has $5,000 per adult to spend on higher education, let me have $15,000 for my 3 grandchildren for a trust fund.
