I have to pay back student loans and these prisoners get a college education for free after breaking serious laws. I'll leave this state if this happens

My grown Sons struggle every month to pay their very expensive colleg loans....they walked a straight-clean life, with only myself to support them as a single mother....I worked two jobs to put clothes on their back, & food in their stomache. Law-abiding students get screwed so convicted felons get a free ride??? Hell, NO!!!! Cuomo, U R AN IDIOT, & I WILL NEVER SUPPORT U AGAIN!!!

so If I rob a fast food store I get a 2 year degree but if I robthe same store I can get a 4 year degree. where as right now I'm too poor to go to college thats wierd

I will be paying back my student loans for the next several decades (at least!) I do NOT think it is fair that I will be paying my loans, while also paying taxes to support prisoners getting a free education.

I worked full time to put myself through college and am 50,000 in debt still. In no way should hard working, law abiding citizens have to be in debt from college while criminals can go for free on MY tax dollars. Absolutely outraged. I DO NOT want this to pass.

totally disagree. we have many people that have done no crime that need help. what about the ones on probation that can't get financial aide? the single parent struggling to better themselves the working person that cant afford to live and pay for college.

I work to send my kids to college, not to have my taxes increased to send criminals to college. It motivates those to commit crimes to get the benefits of prison.

Funding for our elementary and high schools needs to be restored, and financial aid for college for the middle class, before inmates should get a college education. My children deserve a break, not an individual who broke the law. Who's going to hire a convicted felon after all the tax dollars are spent on their education? Let's get real. I don't work hard to make ends meet so that opportunities I would like to give my own children are going to criminals.
