I do not believe that prisoners should receive a free college education. If there is extra money give it back to law abiding tax payers.

i want to sign the petition say no to free college for inmates. If you have another one to impeach the governor I wiould be more then happy to sign it

I'm a single mom, my girls lost their dad at a young age,,, I struggle to keep them in college right now.. This sucks

i think it is insane! give the working faimly 5 k each help the working people for a change! get gas and fuel were it belongs instead of killing the working man

While I am in favor of rehabilitation and reduced recidivism of inmates, I cannot in good conscience support the Governor’s plan when so many individuals and families in New York are struggling to meet the ever-rising costs of higher education- feel free to provide them a GED if they don't have it and teach them vocational skills.

I wish my son's could have gone to college and received their Bachelor's Degrees for $5,000 each!!! I guess they need to go to prison first, to get the help they deserve for being good, upstanding citizens!!!!!
